Crosstabbing and Segmentation Analysis
In order to effectively sell your ad space, you need to understand who your medium reaches. You also want to be able to demonstrate to buyers that you understand their target audience. To go the distance, you need to prove that their target audience has an affinity to your medium.
If your media is measured in syndicated data, you can simply subscribe through the data provider and access the data through Telmar. If your media is not yet measured you have several options. One, you can create a prototype of your media using other existing vehicles or, two; you can load a syndicated study. Telmar currently loads over 4000 media studies for Crosstabbing and segmentation and constantly adds new syndicated & proprietary studies.

Segmentation tools such as CHAID, Cluster and Correspondence allow you to look even deeper into targets, identifying key groups that might have an affinity with your media.
For example, let’s say you’re a magazine publisher who reaches only 15% of a brand’s target audience. With segmentation tools, you might be able to show that while your magazine only reaches 15% of the total target audience, it reaches 50% of a very hard-to-reach cluster group within that target.
Because the tools are so visual, your clients will more easily understand the contribution your media makes.
